Job Description

As a CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing the technological direction and innovation within the company. This will involve leading the engineering and development departments, setting technology strategies and policies, collaborating with other executive team members to align technology with business goals, and ensuring the latest technological advancements are leveraged to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's technological strategy in alignment with business goals
• Lead and manage the engineering and development departments, ensuring collaboration and efficiency
• Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure to support growth and innovation
• Collaborate with executive team members to ensure technology supports and advances the overall business strategy
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, positioning the company for technological leadership
• Ensure technology standards and best practices are met across the organization
• Act as a mentor to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's tech stack, ensuring scalability, security, and robustness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience in hiring, managing, and leading a team of developers.
• Proficient in React, Node.js, AWS, and other relevant technologies.
• Proven track record of making strategic technology-related decisions for an organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
